New Rodgers Organ in Mountain View Chapel

Patricia Eldred Residence, Mountain View, California

Patricia Eldred recently moved from her San Jose home to the Redwood Villa Retirement Residence in Mountain View, California. Mrs. Eldred is well-known in the area for her fine musicianship both as a pianist and organist. She was organist at the historical church, St. Joseph in Mountain View, on a 3-manual 32-rank Murray Harris pipe organ. She is a member of the American Guild of Organists. The Redwood Villa Retirement Residence was built in 1975 by the Cappelletti family, who came to America from Switzerland in 1949. Three, going on four, generations of Cappelletti’s have dedicated themselves to maintaining quality care services for the residents in the Mountain View area. There is a charming chapel in the facility, just down the way from Pat’s new apartment home. She traded her Rodgers 3-manual Trillium 927 for a 2-manual Rodgers Allegiant 658 when she moved to her new home. A meaningful gift to the Redwood Residences, Pat will continue to have access to a lovely instrument and stay active in service playing for those who worship in the chapel.
